"After 36 years our deck needed to be replaced, and we decided it was the perfect time to add a screened-in porch. After speaking with several contractors whose proposals were quite frankly, unimaginative, we asked Jack to come look at our project. We discussed several deck designs and had an idea of what we wanted the porch to look like and how it would function with our lifestyle. We knew we wanted a “gazebo” look for the porch, not just a standard box. Jack was infinitely patient with us, and did not pressure us to make a hasty decision. We finally came across a design that we discussed with him that would tie into an existing hip roof. Jack’s team developed 3-D renderings that helped us visualize what the new deck and porch would look like. The final result is a deck and porch that we love, blending seamlessly with the original design of the house so as to not be an easily recognized add-on. We also want to commend the crew assigned to our project. They showed up early every day as promised and always put in a full day’s work. Their results are gorgeous and the new porch and deck are all that we hoped for.
